Tea Lounge in a Box – Moorish Edition If you don't live in San Francisco, visiting Samovar Tea Lounge might be a challenge. Finally, without ever leaving the comfort of your home, you can experience the Samovar “way of tea” with our "Tea Lounge in a Box" tea sets.
The Moorish Edition of Tea Lounge in a Box is a classic tea set built around one of our most popular teas, Moorish Mint. It includes everything you need to steep and sip our amazingly fresh, artisan teas (like Moorish Mint). And, we even include a free download of our house-blended Samovar Tea Lounge music! This set contains:
> A large tin of
Moorish Mint, a low-caffeine blend of green tea, mint and other flavorful herbs that’s delicious hot or iced, and sweetened or unadorned
> A
Samovar Classic Black Teapot (the same kind we use in our Tea Lounges for its balance of durability, design and sleek aesthetic)
> A
Samovar Bamboo Tray (the same kind we use in our Tea Lounges for its subtle beauty and natural fit in a range of tea rituals)
> Two
Sencha Teacups to help you admire your Moroccan Mint’s color and aroma alone or with a friend
> A free download of the
Samovar Tea Lounge Music, which includes a sampling of some of our Lounge customers’ favorites and pairs perfectly with Moorish Mint
Variations on Moorish Mint are consumed in Morocco, in nearby parts of Africa and elsewhere around the world. There are many divergent tea traditions surrounding mint green teas, but here are a few of our favorite ways to enjoy Moorish Mint and the Moorish Edition of Tea Lounge in a Box:
> Brew in the Samovar Classic Black Teapot. Serve in Sencha Teacups on the Samovar Bamboo Tray. Note the color and aroma of the tea, and drink it unadorned.
> Add sugar or honey for a sweetly refreshing brew. Sweetened hot mint tea is a mainstay in Moroccan cuisine, even in the heat of summer.
> Brew Moorish Mint extra strong, add sweetener if desired, and then pour it over ice for delicious (and quick) iced tea. (You can learn more about how to brew chilled teas on the Samovar tea blog.)
