The old fashioned way of making a call was to actually cradle the handset firmly in your hand and press it against your ear, sometimes with the shrug of the shoulder, getting physically closer to the person you're talking with. This was a special way of connecting and communicating that you might remember if you were born before 1995.
This phone pays homage to the old ways of communicating with a real handset. And we love it. It's super functional and simple and creates a totally different experience when talking on it. Not it's not tea. And yes it might be surprising that a tea company is selling a handset for talking. But it totally makes sense when you think about it. Tea is simple and connects people. This phone is simple, and nostalgic and connects people. Voila.
