Last year we had a special event, inviting one of the local village representatives to come to Samovar and give a presentation on the Ancient Tea initiative. It was really amazing to see how far our dollars went in helping them to build schools, roads and community buildings. This support allows them to be secure in picking and processing tea the traditional way, slowly, and in small batches, and involving the whole family.
